This website started from scratch under my supervision and leadership. It is worth to clarify that Corona, as a corporation, has several sub-brands, which are: Corona Acabados, which consists of all details finishes of the products that we observe with the naked eye in the spaces that the brand intercedes; Corona Vajillas, consists of all the served table products; Grival, a brand for plumbers and masters builders (plumbing parts and pipes); Alion, in charge of cement and construction area; American Standard, elite brand for sectors in the United States and Central America; and Mansfield, a cross-brand in the United States.
The basic information and the identity manuals of these brands were handled independently in different PDF files in the diverse areas of the company, so when it was necessary to make an update or add new material to the article, a new document was created. Then it was distributed to each designated area and given notice that the previous document became obsolete. This process created great confusion and disorder about the current standards of each brand.
With the creation of this website, we were able to unify the identity manuals, guidelines, downloadables, and image stock of each brand in one place that can always be visited and updated by the employees at any time. The page is open to the general public, however, it has exclusive and confidential content for its employees, which include an image stock archive of more than 12,000 images that have been uploaded, cataloged, categorized, organized, and named among all the brands, under my leadership and supervision.

KITCHENS THAT BUILD HAPPINESS

My management skills at Corona Colcerámicas developed in several aspects. Firstly, there is the editorial aspect, Corona manages a very wide product portfolio among which we can find, taps, coatings, sinks, furniture, kitchens, dishwashers, etc. so how to display all these products in a single editorial content? that was a great challenge.
Another great project that I had the pleasure of leading was «Kitchens that Build Happiness», which is a printed and digital catalog. For this process, the brand’s promotional guidelines had to be taken into account. For example, the margins, the grid, and its institutional logo with a squared shape were determining factors in all the brand’s publications. The square is the universal representation of a space. It is a simple element that makes up everything we see around us. It is a door, a window, a ceiling, a floor, or a wall. It is a figure without limits, which can be as small as a tile or as large as a block of buildings, all made with Corona products.
This is how the square is present as a title and subtitle in the different categories of the piece, also present in various descriptive texts. Similarly, it is applied in the distribution of photographs, allowing certain freedoms depending on the image form.
On the other hand, there is the instructional aspect, given the variety of furniture arranged for different types and sizes of kitchens, where the client must understand the measures and faces of these products.
The organization and presentation of the products is the main content, which seeks to attract the attention of the potential clients of the brand. That is why it has been divided by launch lines according to its design and location in the kitchen.
Finally, beyond the aesthetics of the product and its location, its operation and the characteristics of the product must be taken into account, which is why infographics play a vital role. The catalog has several of them, the infographic must be minimalist, clear, and explain in detail the qualities that make the product unique.
PRINTED MEDIA
Corona leads the market in a large number of digital and printed advertising media, within magazines, newspapers, inserts, and others. Here you can find some of the pieces that I helped create and that have been massively published in different media across the country.
